KDay collects no data. Everything stays on your phone. There is no server, no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind.
What KDay reads, and why
Contacts (optional): with your permission, KDay reads names, birthdays and contact photos from your address book to compute 1000-day milestones. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
Calendar (optional): if you use the calendar import, KDay looks for birthday events on your device. Nothing is modified and nothing leaves your phone.
People you add manually and your own birthday: stored only in the app's local storage on your device.
What KDay never does
No data is sent to us or to any third party — the app makes no network requests.
No third-party SDKs, no analytics, no advertising identifiers.
Notifications are scheduled locally on your device.
Sharing
When you share a k-day card or send someone a birthday request message, you do so through apps you choose (Messages, WhatsApp, …). KDay only prepares the content; the sending happens entirely under your control.
Data deletion
Deleting the app deletes all its data. That's the whole procedure.
